France: Builds 2 units
Message from France to Russia
Hi Nicky,
;-)
Tamas
<game-theory>
Well, I guess this was a showcase demonstration of what I
was talking about last year. I did believe your romantic
talk but one should never discard the possibility that the
very reasonable and believable story simply hides an
expert diplomat's setup for something nasty. And I have
to admit that going into this season I was debating: told
to myself that holding my line securing all the centers is
the winning way to go on the north: if I am not concerned
about getting you a center to survive then I can simply
finish that part without much risk. Unfortunately I did
not feel like going to sleep with this "guilt" and indeed
I probably would have felt bad this morning if your claim
for War had been cancelled just because of my
selfishness. Fortunately it was not the case.
At the same time I did spend quite some time on thinking
about these risks and in fact was not extremely surprised
after the results came through. I had thought that
Bal-Den and Lvn-Kie was about equally likely in fact if I
had had to guess I would have said Bal-Den. But Bal-Den
succeeding would have been much worse for me so I opted
for risking Kiel.
</game-theory>
Oh well, the endgame was getting boring indeed. I have my
own theory on your stab and I am quite curious to see after
the game if I was right or not. We'll see.
Let's keep in touch,
Tamas

Looking forward to that ;-)

Do you still think so? What do you thing the most likely
outcome of this game is at this point? Are you still
confident that in the race of FAT to RAT, FAT will win?

Nicky,
BTW:
> Hmm, you're right, how about Bot S Lvn-War, then?
Nice try indeed, unfortunately the judge does not allow
misorders but even in face-to-face this would be pretty
wild, n'est ce pas?
