Message from Germany to Master
Again Russia correctly forecasted my moves in S1907 and moved
back to WAR and MOS to defend STP. For the moment I can't progress
any more in this part. France choosed to get the last English SC allowing
me to enter EDI. This put me again in the difficult choice about how
not to lose control of North Sea while holding Belgium.
In the meantime Turkey seems to go after Austria instead of heading
towards Atlantic Ocean. This would provide him more SCs in the short-medium
term but less chances to run for a solo.
Probably my best chances are now trying for a 3way GFT, so I must hold
the position against France, waiting for Turkey to "eat" Austria and Italy,
followed by a stab to Russia.
Message from Turkey to Master
Interesting turn:
- France gave up (temporarily) Edi to get Lvp.
I think he will we get it back with the two armies and the
constant pressure on NTH.
- Russia moved north to defend against Germany. Now he has
so many units in the north that he can attack Germany.
So the support Nor gave the last turns to secure NTH may
be cut (or Germany uses Nor to attack StP).
- Austria must no longer fear that Russia gets Bud or cuts
the support that Vie is giving with no Russian army in Gal.
So he can concentrate on defending Tri.
- I got Ven (I thought I would bounce again) and can also
hold it (F ION-ADR and A Ser/Alb-Tri to cut both possible
supports).
My assumption what the players will do:
- France continues to attack Germany. I will have to attack
France before he gets another build for Edi. But I only
have 7 units and so cannot afford the move directly to
France ignoring Italy.
- Germany continues to attack Russia. If they play conservative
both don't have a chance to defeat the other one.
- Italy just defends his last two centers.
- Austria concentrates on me without the Russian army in Gal.
I'm not going to support Russia to Bud this turn because
if he gets it he has only one free home center to build
a new unit: Sev. And I don't want that he builds a unit
there.
So my (very conservative) orders are:
A Bul S A Ser: If Russia uses the support offered by Austria
or Austria attacks me.
A Alb-Tri: To cut a possible A Tri S F ADR-Ven and to get Tri
if Austria concentrates on defending Bud.
A Ser S A Alb-Tri: As stated I'm not supporting Russia this turn.
F Ven S A Alb-Tri: Better than dislodging ADR.
F ION-ADR: To cut a possible support.
F AEG-ION: To prevent that ION is dislodged.
F Tun S F AEG-ION: To prevent that ION is dislodged.
I think I should be more agressive (e.g. F Tun S F ION-TYS)
but then my 7 units will be too wide spread.
