Message from Germany to Master

I proceed with the plan of the previous season by placing units
on FIN,SWE,SKA.

Message from Turkey to Master

> Italy: Removes the army in Tyrolia.

I now have a vague persentiment why Austria ordered F Tri-Ven in the
fall: So Austria can keep his fleet which is more important than the
Italian army in Tyr.

That's also not good because it's mean that there is still an AI alliance
and Italy isn't going to take Ven back. Ven will move to ADR and I
have no chance to get ION. Looks like there are not three Italian
fleets but two Italian and one Austrian. Also it's much more difficult
to bring Russia into Bud with the Italian army in Boh. Russia and I
have ten units in the south, Italy and Austria only seven. But
nevertheless it will be very difficult to get another center...

I could now stab Russia (F Con-BLA, A Syr-Arm). I could take Sev in the
fall and destroy that nasty fleet. But the disadvantage is that I then
have three enemies: Austria, Italy and Russia.

Let's assume I continue the RT alliance and Austria and Italy order:

F Ven-ADR
A Vie S A Bud
A Tri-Ser
A Bud S A Tri-Ser or A Bud S A Boh-Gal

A Boh-Gal
F ION-Gre
F TYS-ION

then

Russia: A War-Sil
Turkey: F AEG-Gre, F Smy-EAS, F Con-AEG

are the only chances to get a better position this turn. But for
F AEG-Gre and F Con-AEG I need to order A Bul S F AEG-Gre. This meens
that I risk loosing Ser if
a) Austria orders
A Tri S A Bud-Ser
which is unlikely because Austria risks loosing Bud and it's easy
for him to defend it.
b) Austria orders
A Bud S A Tri-Ser
and Russia doesn't attack Bud. My destiny would again be linked with
Russia attacking Bud :-(. And this turn might fear that I stab him...
At least I would have a chance to get Ser back in the fall (it will
be a guessing game).

I will take the risk again. Last question: A Ser S A Rum-Bud or
A Ser S A Gal-Bud?

Pros: A Ser S A Rum-Bud
- Russia can support Gal with A Ukr S A Gal.
- If Russia orders a War-Sil then A Rum-Bud cuts A Bud S A Boh-Gal
and so Gal is not dislodged.
Cons:
- Russia ordered A Gal-Bud last turn.
- Russia might fear A Ser S A Bul-Rum and wants to support Rum with
F Sev S A Rum.
- A Gal S A Rum-Bud will be cut by A Boh-Gal.

I don't think that Russia has a realistic chance to get Bud this turn.
So it's important that Gal is not dislodged. This means that Russia will
order A Rum-Bud this turn (if he attack Bud at all :-(.

So my orders are

F Smy-EAS: Move to the front.
A Syr-Smy: I don't need an army in Syr.
F Con-AEG: Move to the front.
F AEG-Gre: Move to the front.
A Bul S F AEG-Gre: to prevent a bounce in Gre
A Ser S A Rum-Bud: to signal Russia that I will help him (I don't
think that he will get Bud this turn).

I don't like these moves because they risk Ser. But one turn I have
to support AEG to Gre or I might bounce there forever. Better do it
in the first turn before the orders become static and too predictable.
I hope at least Russia appreciates that I use Ser to support him
instead of supporting myself to Gre (to be honest I don't support
myself from Ser because I think it will be cut).

To the west:

It's amazing: The west is "balanced" because there are no alliances
and the east is "balanced" because there are two alliances: RT against
AI.

It doesn't look like an EG alliance. That's bad for me because
with a strong France my chances for a solo are low (I think it's
easier to grab Mar or Spa from a weak France than Mun or Ber
from a weak Germany. At the moment neither France nor Germany
are weak...

An FE alliance is possible if England uses the offered support to
Hol. But the risk that France stabs him even in the same turn
is high...

At least it doens't look like an FG alliance. But this could change
quickly...

P.S.: These notes are getting too long. I will try to be shorter
in the next turns.
