Message from Germany to Master
Not much to say: I just have to reenter North Sea with a fleet
and follow the idea of Italian support to WAR.
Message from Turkey to Master
In the west it doesn't look like France and Germany are
able to make peace. So I may have won some time.
Russia tried last fall to cut a not existing support
instead of supporting himself into Bud and so I got
some time there, too. My move to ION succeeded so I
spared some time. I'm happy with the results :-).
Most of my orders this turn are simple:
A Bul S A Ser for the case that Austria attacks Ser.
A Ser S A Rum-Bud keep Russia happy.
A Gre-Alb get a better position/bounce Austria.
F EAS-ION get another fleet into ION.
F AEG S F EAS-ION support EAS to prevent a bounce.
The only difficult move is ION: Tun, TYS, Nap, Apu or ADR?
The only criteria is: The move must not bounce.
Italy can order:
F Tun-TYS, F TYS-Nap or
F Tun S F ADR-ION, F TYS-Nap
F Tun H, F TYS H
So I have only a 33% chance to move into Nap, Tun, or TYS.
The last combination is perhaps a little bit less likely
(if he doesn't throw a dice) but still my chances are less
than 50% for Tun or TYS.
Austria could move ADR to Alb, Apu, ION or stay in ADR. If
the moves are equal probable I have a 75% chance to get Apu
or ADR. So I will move to Apu or ADR. If he moves to Apu
and the move doesn't bounce he has a problem to defend Tri
in the fall. If I move to Apu it's not so serious for him.
So I will move there. As last year if my move should bounce
I will probably begin next round to throw a coin so that
I cannot be outguessed.
