Message from Austria to Master
I am submitting phased orders, so I am submitting my comments before Russia
has made his retreat.
Well, Italy did not move to Tys as I had expected him to, but that does not
really matter. The elimination of Italy is just a matter of time.
What's really worse is that EF suddenly made peace. After France ignored
England's peace signals earlier, I was hoping for England to be stubborn and
attack France "no matter what", but I guess that was just me daydreaming.
I wonder what Germany will do now. England initiated an attack on him, and
he is in a position to cause EF (especially France) a lot of trouble.
Hopefully he will do that. Otherwise, we are set for an EFT draw. With
Germany on "my" side, I may still have a shot at a solo.
The key center now is Tunis. France is on his way to get it (or help Italy
hold it). I am going to try to bounce him in Wes, and I am going to make a
gamble with Italy by making Alb-Ion and leaving Gre open. This could cost me
my fleet build, but I am in a hurry to get Tun. I am pretty sure Italy will
make Ion-Tun, Nap S Tus-Rom, Tus-Rom, now, and that would mean I am in
Tys+Ion after the fall, with Italy having to disband a unit.
My army movements will be conservative. I will move Ven-Apu, since Italy
will support himself into Rom anyway. It was very good that the Russian army
in Gal ended up in Boh. Russia cannot hold the line against me. Had he made
Mos-Ukr, he would have me stalemated now...

Well it looks like France finally got the message. |I can take DEN but I am
not sure if I should.
France may see that he may lose Holland and decide to try for london.
Germany may see that he may lose Denamrk and take Holland as compensation.
The three of us shouldnt be fighting but I do not wish to be eliminated.
France may selfbounce and go for London.
Germany wil I believe go for Holland. I guess I have to go for Denmark and
cover London.
Bummer, but I still think we have enough time to stop Austria.
On second thoughts I wont attack Germany but I will indicate peace to both.

I'm playing this game really well (ironic).
Ok, now for guess with Germany. He will make a supported attack on Hol.
If he is ordering :

Then bur-ruh will stop it.

Then my only chance is :

bur s hol-ruh (though this will fail if he also orders mun-bur)
And I can't afford to move Mar in case the Italian army is dislodged.
Final possibility is that England supports Hol.
I'll try for this. Gives me a chance to issue a friendly support to G as well.
In the south, I don't want to risk a bounce with Austria in WES. Just get 2
fleets into position. Italy will hold out for a while.
England is obviously going to go and get Stp. No point in signalling it and
spoooking Russia. He can hold Austria off for a while.
I presume England will order ska-den (supported by swe) since this offers
entry into BAL, and also allows :
swe-fin, nth-nwy

Well, fortunes have changed again. Now it is the English who are missing "a
little something up there". Yes I realize that after people read my
comments noone is going to think highly of me in this game ever again
because all I keep doing is cursing out my enemies, but seriously: If you
make intelligent stabs on me, I will praise you highly and groan about how
stupid I was. But if you do STUPID things, like Russia did all game, I am
going to curse you out and call you a moron.
Attacking Guy #2 when Guy #1 was attacking you....isn't such a brilliant
manouver. Avoiding taking Stp when it's been open to you for
years...well.....At least this point taking Stp WOULD be a stupid manouver.
England's best concept for staying alive would be to back off, let FG stop
Austria and call it a 4 way. Instead he's gonna mess me up, so I am going
to have to get desperate and mess up France, and Austria will win it.
Meanwhile it seems Russia is siding with Austria. What is going on this in
these people's HEADS?!?!?! I'm about to join the "toss it to Austria" game
myself!
Anyway, the moves will be:

Well, it looks like he (Austira) is going to dismember me by the numbers. I
had hoped he would take TUN to get that fleet out of play for a year.
Instead, he makes me cover TUN, probably doesn't bounce me. ALB - ION and
VEN - APU sets me up for a big fall next year. I end up with three fleets,
but split all over the place. Then the coup de grace.
Let's play it out, stranger things have happened.

Are people starting to get it finally? I still don't
understand what Italy is doing, but at least France and
England seem to be calling a truce. Germany stepping
up a little was a good sign. I need to do something
inventive here, because Austria getting the Ukraine
is not good, but ca I stop it. Galicia probably goes
to the Ukraine with two supports. I need to hold out here
to see if others come to my aid. Hmm . . .
