Message from Austria to Master

Russia's disbands in the winter indicate that he will try to help me win
this game. Hopefully he will make Pru-Ber, in which case we will have a very
good chance of destroying the German army in Sil. With me attacking both Mun
and Sil with one support, Germany will not be able to move his army in Sil
west whatever he tries. If Sil is destroyed, and if Germany does not move
his fleet back to Bal (or Kie), I will have a 50/50 chance of breaking
through the German stalemate line in the fall. It is a long shot, I know,
but it will be interesting.

As a nice gesture to Russia, I am bouncing myself in Mos this spring instead
of support myself there.

In the south, I will try to dislodge Lyo. If I succeed, I will be able to
retake Tun in the fall. And by "attacking" my supporting fleet in Tus with
one support, it cannot be destroyed whatever France does.

I did not express myself clearly -- I meant that I am attacking Tus with one
support to protect Tus from being destroyed in case Tus-Lyo fails.

I have also decided to convoy the Russian army in Pru to Ber, because I
would like him to make that move in both the spring and the fall.

Message from England to Master

Well Russia obviously wants Austria to solo, I cant blame him.

The Frenchman has tied the south down, lets hope Germany can do the same.

It's quite easy, he just has to get BER to KIE and SIL to BER.
I hope he sees that. Russia may cause a problem by bouncing SIL in BER thats
why Germany has to also get DEN - BAL. I hope he knows his stalemate lines.
In hindsight I should have given him Sweden but my fleet was on its way to
BAL to make sure we dont lose BER.

If he counts the dots then he must see that Austria can only get three units
on MUN. MUN is covered.
Austria can only get two units on BER, he can cover BER himself.

The 4 way is then a fact, I would prefer a 3 way but I dont see that
happening.

Message from France to Master

There must be a clever way of doing this, but I can't see it.

Anyway, I'm gambling that Austria isn't ordering :
ion-tun
nap-ion (which in particular is the move I don't expect).

Anything else is not too bad.

Message from Germany to Master

Well its clear the EF will go for the "hold off Austria" technique.

So, time to retreat back into typical German holdout formation:

den->bal
ber->kie
sil->ber
mun s sil->ber

Game is winding down. Too bad it hasn't been a more exciting game. Pretty
straightforward. I'm just glad I lasted this far after the Russian and
English attacks.

Woops..forgot Ruh. It's obviously supporting Mun.

Message from Russia to Master

I don't get it. the alliance is weak in fleet
power. Austria is going to get Moscow
(why wouldn't I give it to him?). This could
be a solo for Austria. Why take me out or not
support me. Why does England not build a fleet in
Liverpool? Why support Austria into Russia? I
don't get it. With Moscow, he'll have 16 sc's with
no danger of losing any. I think it's a bad play
personally, and I'm going to try to help the
cause for an Austrian solo.
