Message from Turkey to Italy

Roberto,

Shouldn't we be talking? Are you really determined to stay on a suicidal
course, or would you rather work things out?

I urge you to disband A Gal and defend your homeland, as I will defend mine.
I repeat that if you're willing to begin a dialogue, we can work out a
civilized resolution to our conflict.

Ali

Message from Turkey to England

Ivy,

Most interesting news indeed, and most welcome. I'm continuing my efforts to
get Roberto to talk to me, but so far my last 3 presses have gone unanswered.
I can only hope he's had a change of heart; if he is determined to come after
me 100%, I'm running out of ways to hold him back. He's really put himself in
a bind; at this point, the *only* centers France is really in a position to
attack are Italian home centers. Russia mentioned something to me last turn
about Italy supporting France to Munich, so perhaps that's the avenue he's
pursuing. Still, I think it would take great restraint on France's part not
to attack Rome and/or Naples.

Don't have much time at present, but I will try to write with more in-depth
thoughts this weekend.

Best regards,

Ali
