France: Army Belgium can retreat to Picardy

I appreciate you retreating out of Greece.
But Russia is still building 3 and has the German working for him in the
middle of the board.
England and France are fighting, and he is going to run rampant up north.
And by supporting him in Budapest, the Austrian disbands giving him at
least one more dot.
Why on earth would you still be working with him......
Help me out here...

Jason,
Your moves completely confused me. Putting an army into Rum makes it look
like you are trying to threaten me in Sev, but you supported me in Bud,
which helps me. Moving Gre-Aeg, Aeg-Eas makes it look like you were afraid
of Andy, but it lets him keep all of his units and puts Bul at risk. The
moves I suggested (Aeg S Gre, Bul S Ser, Bla-Rum) would have gotten you two
builds instead of the one you ended up with, and you would have better
access to Italy.
I'm not trying to be a pain here, and I hope this doesn't sound like I'm
lecturing you or anything. I really have been trying to help you out, but
clearly there is something you are worried about that you haven't been
talking about. Can you tell me what you are trying to do? Maybe I can help
you accomplish it. I'd feel a whole lot more comfortable if we coordinated
moves more closely. If one of us makes moves that don't correspond to what
we're talking about, then we can both get screwed over.
I've backed off and given you Rum as promised. I think you need to get that
army (Rum) back up to Bul or Andy and Philippe are going to start taking
centers off of you. If you are willing to help me next Spring, I can help
you get into Tri next Fall.
We should have some time before we need to decide our next moves, but get
back to me and let me know what you are thinking.

Think of this as my "Solomnic" turn. I gave everyone half of what they
wanted. :-)
I gave you Greece back, because I didn't want France to run you over.
Since you moved a fleet in, though, and threatened Bul, that makes me
mildly regret that. Also, since England removed 2 French centers, you're
not nearly as threatened as before.
As for Russia, he's already sent me an annoyed note telling me that A
Rum wasn't part of the deal (it wasn't). I gave him support in Bud to
keep him mildly happy, and took Rum with the army to give me some leverage.
Given his taking of Den (which I admit I didn't see), I doubt I'll keep
working with him. I wasn't certain, though, if Austria would attack Bud,
and without that guarantee, I couldn't risk a complete stab.

Hey Evil One! :-)
I let Andy into Greece because I didn't want him to get overrun by
France. I wasn't planning on him putting a fleet there, though, and with
France down two builds, I'll probably take it back this year.
I'll make sure to cover Bul, no problem, while we head west against
Austria. I believe there was talk of my getting Tri before, and I'd like
to continue with that. With A Rum, I can support Bud while you help me
into Tri, and my fleets maneuver to retake Gre.

He only disbands one, and he is still attacking me this time with better
positioning.
I am not going to mess with you at all...as long as you move on Russia.
If you dont, he is going to solo...
He builds 2, England is even.

Well...I suggest A SMY - ARM next season.

What reason would Austria have for NOT moving Tri - Bud with support.
