Ok, with this broadcast I am setting draw. I now recommend you all - even
Eric -do the same.
I do not intend to eliminate Andy from BER. And that decision is not in
anyone else's hands. There is nothing tactically speaking anyone can do to
change that, barring suicidal RF cooperation, and I do not think that is in
the cards. Nor do I think an Italian suicide is in the cards, given that I
believe that Andy believes my offer of continued support is genuine.
Do what you will, all - in a normal game, I wouldn't be making this
broadcast, but as a gesture to the observers, I thought if we all agree we
will end in a draw, we should put C2 to bed sooner rather than later.
I am glad to hear objections privately, if you think I'm wrong, or openly,
as I said - do what you will.

So Erik,
What's your take on the situation? Are you in favor of a three way or a four
way (take it as a given in answering that there is no threat of a solo)?
Also, I'm trying to get my orders in early without wait set these days. It's
not normally my style, but the FtF at DipCon has inspired me. Plus, while
it's probably a bit premature for me to set draw, I want need to drag out the
moves by overthinking them.
Let me know what you are thinking. We should be able to easily eliminate Andy
-- even if you and I were to cooperate to take him out of Italy, he seems
very trusting of Ben's benevolence in Ber.

I'm in favor of not losing. ;)
Seriously, I could only go for a three way in a situation where you
withdrew so apparently from your own advance as to appear insane. Even
then, it's impossible to say what Andy will do when faced with an apparent
draw whittling -- in all likelihood, try to convince England and I how
crucial he is, but you never know.
I don't have a map here in front of me, but I'll have to see what exactly I
would need to be comfortable. If we can come up with a plan that England
and I both agree to, I'm game for a little whittlin', but as of right now,
I'm riding with the four-way posse. I'll look at Italy specifically, since
Andy sees Berlin as his final holdout anyway.
