Turkey: Army Serbia can retreat to Greece
Message from Germany to all
About time :-) Have a good game guys see you in the EOG's
Message from Germany to all
>>Why don't you quit the game so you can join the discussion group - as I
recall that was customary in Comments. Your call.>>
This had crossed my mind and I want to. I will check with the GM to make
sure.
Outside of diplomacy I can be trusted :-)
On the other hand maybe R or F would like advice from a dead man which they
can ofcourse ignore.
Soeone has to solo, no draws allowed without me. Maybe I should stay and
wheel and deal someone to a solo.
Message from Russia to Austria
Well, surprisingly, my gambles all paid off -- at least in the short term. I
can't tell you how much I fretted over Rum-Bul vs Rum H. Changed it several
times, and your last note suggesting it would be best move was the hardest to
refute. In the end I went with my gut (influenced by your intel) and the
result is a moveset that I don't think could have been better on our side.
Wow.
I'll be interested to see Jason's retreat. Does he take a center off of Andy
to keep the pressure on me, or does he disband as a peace offfering?
Strategically the army is probably more important, but it's a tough balance
of position vs. diplomacy.
The only bad thing is that Andy is set up to force Tri come Spring. We'll
have to figure out what we want to do about that. I'm thinking F Sev and A
War, force Turkey south, and then we should be able to get you a center to
compensate for Tri. But frankly, your ideas have been better than mine
recently, so I'd like to hear what you think as well.
And if I haven't said it enough, your help has been invaluable. Not just the
supports you've offered, but the suggestions have generally been things I
haven't thought of myself. While I haven't followed them all to the letter,
they've been really good for pointing out what I'm missing in the strategic
picture.
