Message from Germany to England and France

>I will be pushing north as promised.>

Hehehehehe. Anyway good luck guys. Russia knew my exact moves so no surprises there.
Thanks for the game

Message from Germany to all

About time :-) Have a good game guys see you in the EOG's

Message from England to Germany

Tony -
As late as 2 hours before the deadline I had Germany-friendly orders in.
But I was finally persuaded Russia's offer of support was genuine, and your
broadcast made me too nervous to count on you making *England*-friendly
orders.

Neither here nor there. I have learned a lot from playing with you. Now I
will go back to watching you in Lorax. . .

Ben

Beware or wolves in sheeps clothing ;-)
If only you had communicated the German friendly moves to me. Russia's moves were no doubt inspired by the fact that I told him my exact moves before the deadline. I gave up waiting for a clear concice commitment from you. The fact that you didnt commit German friendly moves (via communication) led me to role the dice. It was bed time. France also failed to commnicate any commitment. In hindsight I should have supported BEL - HOL :-)

I will save comments for the EOG but my money is on Russia soloing. Good luck I will continue to follow the game and give advice here and there. Everybody has the right to my opinion. This has been my worst game ever for a long time so please dont learn anything from me. My EOG will explain why.

>Now I will go back to watching you in Lorax. . .>

Yes, one of my more usual type games. A come back from 3 sc's to a possible solo position. Knowing me and my big heart and the game developments I will stop at 17 and offer a 3 way ;-)

BTW comment3 has just finished on UVSG. A comment/spectator game like this one only no-press gunboat.
Interesting to read through the comments and study the moves. Once again more enlightning for you than my play in this game.

Tony

I was alittle worried about that, but I thought it was unlikely.

:-) Why don't you quit the game so you can join the discussion group - as I
recall that was customary in Comments. Your call.

We will save my humiliation for the eog's, then.

This had crossed my mind and I want to. I will check with the GM to make
sure.
Outside of diplomacy I can be trusted :-)

On the other hand maybe R or F would like advice from a dead man which they
can ofcourse ignore.
Soeone has to solo, no draws allowed without me. Maybe I should stay and
wheel and deal someone to a solo.

Re: "About time someone eliminated you"

Whether you get this in game or on the discussion list, I wanted to follow
up.

I'm disappointed to have eliminated you, but in the end it seemed the best
choice. As you'll see on the press list, I think it was a huge mistake not to
have coordinated with you better last season (Spring) and gotten you into
Hol. I really valued having your units ahead of me, and I would *not* have
tried to reduce your size had we continued to work together (that is not
intended to blame you for my actions). But once you were so far into my
territory, it seemed that I could pick up the territory as fast as you. And
while England is in a very dangerous position relative to me, it is still
better than having him take Den, given the expectation of RT "issues" that
were about to arise.

Re: Resigning or staying in the game.

I would *more* than welcome your insights. While I'm the biggest power, I'm
facing an almost certain STL alliance. And there are just so many times that
I can correctly guess everyone's moves (see Jason and my moves in the south)!
That said, I will not be offended if you would find it more enjoyable to go
read the logs. Let me know which you decide.

Finally, I will repeat what I said earlier: I admire your tenacity. You are
hell to play against, and I mean that in the best possible way!

dang and to think I really played poorly, I will ofcourse explain this in
the EOG.
I am leaning towards staying in the game. When it comes down to it I would
rather have 6 lose than 3 draw.
I guess in the long run my 340 (which has probably shot up to 1340) is just
to precious ;-)

I have enquired about joing the group, maybe it is empty! I did join the
pinnacle group byt the amout of press was overwhelming. I am committed to 26
games and Pinnacle was to much. I am following the map but not the press. I
am following the comments made by the group. I will probably give my 2 cents
worth when it is the blinding obvious thing to say :-)

I have thouroughly enjoyed this game. I just ended in a draw in comment3, I
was England. The number 27 and 129? ranked players were also in the game
apparently (it was gunboat, no-press). I think I prefer these types of
games, comment no press, comment/press/spectators. I will definitely be
signing up for the next one but I wont make the mistakes I did in this one.
But more on that in the EOG. Thanks for the compliments.

tony
p.s. I think I will stay on to stir things up! it is in my own intrest after
all.

Message from Russia to Germany

I'm glad to hear you'll be hanging around -- assuming of course that you're
here to help me. If you're staying around to hinder me in any way, then I
think you should really resign and go read the press/discussion logs! :)
