Gentlemen -
I hope you will both agree that, by taking the northerly road passing
through BER, I am advancing several causes at once, and I continue on board
with our group plan of restriction of Russian growth, by which I mean,
taking Russian centers. Andy, your dream of German elimination finally came
true.
I will be building an army (at last).

I know my moves were not a capture of DEN but I was worried about gaining
DEN and losing KIE.
My thinking was, now I can build an army and (a) Tony is out of our hair and
(b) Russia's northern centers are considerably vulnerable - I should be able
to pick up about one a year, I hope. Starting with a convoy to DEN. . .

This had crossed my mind and I want to. I will check with the GM to make
sure.

On the other hand maybe R or F would like advice from a dead man which they
can ofcourse ignore.
Soeone has to solo, no draws allowed without me. Maybe I should stay and
wheel and deal someone to a solo.

Well, that makes things interesting. Obviously I did a poor job of convincing
Jason to stay fighting Italy (not that he would have after my moves anyway).
Sorry I didn't support you into Mun. Given that I didn't get your
confirmation that you were taking support, and knowing that the south was
likely to require a new build, I decided to gamble with Ben's plan (which was
fairly last minute itself).
I have left you in a relatively tough position, and may end up paying for it
myself -- Ben can attack me in the north as well as he can attack you with
the build he gets. As was the case prior to last season's moves, I'm happy
with my northern progress, and would be happy to see all remaining centers
(save Ber) in your hands if you want to cooperate. If you want to tell me to
frog off either due to STL concerns or because I didn't provide support to
Mun, I'll understand.
Let me know what you are thinking.
