Bulgaria being removed.

Message from Italy to England, France, and Russia

Italy's adjustment order is in without set wait.

Message from Russia to England, France, and Italy

>Italy's adjustment order is in without set wait.

My builds are in as well, but I'm going to set wait
for a bit so that I can write my EoY, and start
work on the newpaper article.

Nick.

Cool. I need something to use to potty-train my new puppy.

You have to admire someone you loses with grace and style...

Or somebody void of a sense of humor.

11:10:09 -0500.

Just turn set wait off and do your EoY or whatever whenever. If the game is
going to end, let's just let it end, with or without grace and style.

There is absolutely no reason to delay the inevitable. You and your cohorts
have played me like a fool now let's just move on with our lives. If the
game wasn't set DIAS, I would set EFR draw right now. Unforunately, that
option is not available to me so the quicker you can take my centers the
better for all of us.

I've played most of this game for "style-points",
but I'll set no wait.

Thank you.

Message from Russia to England and France

Gentlemen,

I am a bit perplexed about why this was forwarded to
Italy, and not quite sure which one of you did it,
but I guess I'll find out eventually.

Ah Nick, give him a break. He could have come out with much worse. You've
beaten him over the board. Let him have the last word in print. Win with
grace and style.

No need to apologize. I made my bed and I'm willing to sleep in it.

After the builds, I will send a message stating that all Italian troop
movements for the remainder of the game will be directed by you. The
destiny of the final outcome is in your hands.

Message from England to France and Russia

Nick,

I did. It was part of a much longer note in which I was trying to pay my
last respects and a "thank you" to him. He asked for, and I gave him, a
brief interpretation of some events, past and future. In particular I
mentioned to him the major difference between your strategy and mine,
namely the timing of when we should take out Italy.

If I crossed a line somewhere, I am sorry.

My advice, though: Leave him alone. Players are very touch, and often
hurt, when their final elimination becomes certain. Me too. 8-)

He made a good number of snide remarks, including,
"Gentlemen, and Nick,", and "Good luck, you're going
to need it.", that I let pass, without comment.
Even my reply here was a general observation,
rather than being specifically directed at him.
If both you and he felt that he was not losing
with grace and style, well... *shrug* I did
set no wait for him, though.

Nick.

Message from Russia to England

Ivy,

>I did.

Ok, thanks.

>If I crossed a line somewhere, I am sorry.

No problem. I was concerned that France had done it
in an attempt to influence him. I don't make a habit
of forwarding Press, but I'm not one of those who
views doing so as a gross violation of privacy,
decorum, and good taste. Once it's in your Inbox,
it's yours to do with as you please, as far as I'm
concerned.

>My advice, though: Leave him alone. Players are very touchy, and often

I have tried to be polite and respectful, even when
it has seemed that he was deliberately trying to
provoke me. I have no desire to get into a war of
words with him, I just want to eliminate his Units,
and take over his Centers.

Nick.

Hmm. I'd have to go through the math to figure out if responses to this
would be identity-revealing. Probably not, but I'd rather you refrain
anyway. If you're trying to make a point, make it another way; if you're
trying to address things particular players were doing in previous games,
well, don't. We're still *supposed* to be anonymous. :-)

Message from Italy to Master

It is pure curiousity. My curiousity will have to wait.

Message from Master to all

Please submit EOY statements, if you so desire. No actually, I think I
demand an EOY after the year just completed. Wow. :-)

Just kidding of course; if you have the time and inclination, please
press to m (or broadcast) your thoughts.

Doug
