Turkey: Army Budapest can retreat to Galicia
Message from Germany to England and France
Interesting moves.
Unfortunately I'll be out of town the rest of the weekend. So I can't
talk about them until later.

I think that someone was having some fun with us Ivy.
I did not send the French message either. I do
understand the deadlines now and was on time.

Wingo:
Thank you for keeping your word. I have guests and just
popped on for a second. I will probably not write much
until tonight.
An excellent beginning! Too bad that Russia is in a bit
of a bind. I have not studied the situation, but do not
think that we can immediately take a German center.

Dauphin,

I am rather busy as well. Actually I am at work. I am trying to get
enough done so that I can watch football tomorrow and perhaps some tennis
tonight. I am a diehard Steelers fan.
You are to be congratulated. With persistent diplomacy and flawless
tactics you have weathered the storm. As long as the rest of us do not
permit Italy to gain too much more, your chances are as good, if not
better, than the rest.

Russia can come out even with my help. He can either recover StP or take
Sweden instead. But Germany does not lose a center. After I pull the
Channel up into the North Sea this next turn he will be very hard pressed.
Germany sent me a note thanking me for vacating the North Sea. 8-)
I have never been part of a mutual, simultaneous stab before. There is no
feeling of guilt!
As I read the situation, after this year Turkey will be one unit short of
having enough for adequate defense. He will need the support of a Russian
army for Romania. It's not clear if Russia will provide the support though.
We have lots of time to think about these things. Back to work.

To attack in all directions simultaneously of course.
I decided to not go away this weekend. So I guess I'd better look over
the damage.
England and I both stabbed. The end result being almost the same as
what we were planning together. Except that I'm not in BUR and England
is in NWG. The benefit to me is that the North Sea is finally clear.
It's ironic actually, or tragic.
Too bad that you supported BEL. :-(
It appears that Russia has decided to defend STP with vigor. I laughed
at your comments about working with him a couple of days ago. It's like
pulling teeth. You suggest something, and he'll never agree. He's
always got a completely different plan.
I really don't want to fight him, but he leaves little choice.
As I stated earlier it's my belief that unless something is done soon
about Italy he will win. Hence my move of Munich to TYR. It didn't
look like Russia would help out, so I had to just go alone. I hope that
no matter what happens between EFG that you'll be able to put at least
one fleet into the Med.
Where do we go from here? Glad you asked. I think what we were talking
about before is still on the table. I want to keep the army in TYR. IE
I don't want to move it back to defend MUN. Therefore I need you to not
be attacking MUN. I guess that puts you in the drivers seat. I'm also
going to be fighting Ivy now. I wouldn't mind seeing him lose a piece.
Therefore I now have two good reasons to support you to BEL. From BUR,
and with only HOL, as RUH will be heading to MUN.
