Message from Germany to Russia
Hi Eric, I too was suprised to see VEN work.
No, I say build SEV. The fleet may come in handy later. Eventually you wil
lose STP so you have to look for that 18th SC.
Ideally you would like to get over the BUR/MAR line but that is going to be
difficult.
Your main challenge is grabbing the last 4 before losing STP. I will send
move suggestions after the disbands. You may get lucky and he may disband
something stupid.
Talk to you soon.
Tony

Well the builds processed just before I sent my press.
Here are my move suggestions.
stp - fin (slow him down)
a lvn - stp supported by mos (dont want to lose stp)
war - sil
sil - mun supported by boh
ven - tus
tyr - tri
mun - tyr
gre - bul
aeg - gre
con - smy supported by ank
sev - bla
The only order I might change is tyr - pie supported by ven and mun - tyr
instead of the moves stated. One side thought Italy might convoy to alb just
to be annoying.
Good luck.

Tony,

I was thinking about these moves, too.
>war - sil
>sil - mun supported by boh
>mun - tyr
Not a bad idea! I had thought War-Pru, but this gets better defensive position.
>gre - bul
I was thinking that Rom-Apu was to set up a convoy (not a side thought to
me), so I was thinking of Gre-Alb, to block it.
>aeg - gre
>con - smy supported by ank
I asked Jason if he'd be willing to move Smy-Eas-Ion and then maybe take
Nap or Tun. He's agreed. I think it's worth letting him hang around on the
chance he'll help me. So I was thinking either Aeg-Gre, Con-Aeg, Ank-Con,
or Aeg S Smy-Eas, Con-Bul(sc). Either way I can take Smy and Bul at need
(even if he works with Andy against me).
Yes, Jason could get to Ion and then work with Erik, but holding Smy
hostage should make that okay for me.
>sev - bla
That seems clear. :)

I could also imagine Ven-Rom, or Ven-Apu (in case Apu covers Rome). It's
all a guessing game there.
>One side thought Italy might convoy to alb just to be annoying.
As noted above, that seems pretty likely to me.
>Good luck.
Thanks,
--- Eric
