Message from France to England and Italy
Gents:
So, to wrap this up, I need to successfully move a fleet into
Marseilles. There's always a chance that Bur S Lyo - Mar will succeed,
but I predict a support cut from Mun.
Therefore, this is my proposal:
Fall:
Lyo - Mar
Bur S Lyo - Mar (just in case)
Wes - Spa
Tys - Wes
Tun S F Rom - Tys
F Rom - Tys
Spring:
Spa - Mar
Lyo S Spa - Mar
This more or less guarantees that I occupy Mar in Spring, barring some
major change in force alignment. Andy, you're going to lose Rome no
matter what, so you might as well put it to use securing the southern
stalemate. I suspect he'll order Ion - Tys with support from Nap, so
with my support from Tunis, you can keep it empty. As long as Tys
remains empty this turn, then Spa - Mar will succeed with support from
Lyo (which can't be broken at that point). If Russia gets into Tys this
turn, we have considerably tougher odds.
Thoughts?

Andy -

Consider my ego soothed.

Ha! Please disregard the first message, sent in error. It contains no
useful intelligence, and there is none to be had anyway. Me & my clumsy

Reminder: I need you to move from Rom - Tys. If you're no longer interested
in that plan for whatever reason, please let me know why; it's the only
logical move I can think of to keep us all in the game.
I think support for Ber is set for the indefinite future.
