Italy: Fleet Ionian Sea can retreat to Adriatic Sea or Naples or Tunis or Tyrrhenian Sea
Message from France to Master
Excellent that went very well. I suspected (hoped?) that England would
try to cover Edinburgh, allowing my move to the North Sea to succeed. At
this point, if England removes F Edi, I will allow him to keep working in
Scandinavia (Nwy/Swe/Den/Stp). If he keeps F Edi, I will have to
eradicate it.
In the south, my goal is to help Italy. Not to help him so to speak, but
to make sure he doesn't collapse against Turkey. At least not before I'm
in the position to take advantage of it :-)
I wish that I could have used a fleet to signal my peaceful intentions to
Italy. I'm worried that he'll get the wrong idea (or the right idea!)
from my move of Mao-Wes. But all my fleets were busy. I considered using
F Eng to convoy Ven-Swi, since I wasn't sure Eng-Nth would succeed, but
I'm glad that I didn't.
I was going to say that my build depended on Italy's retreat, but in
thinking about it some more, I think that I will likely build F Mar no
matter what. More on why with the build phase.

Well, it seems I'm screwed after all...
I do not think the French fleet has comme to bail me
out, has it? I hope he gets the much-dreaded "early
leader syndrome"!
At least my armies are in a good position to defend
the homeland. Also the Russian may decide to join
me...
I hope at least my five armies deter them a little!
Message from Russia to Master
I should have known about the move to Finland since Stp
is the target; but I thought England would have prefered
to keep an army near Germany to appease him.
As for the rest, let the Juggernaut roll!
