Message from England to Master
We are in the process of moving and have just gotten cable back up. I'm
completely exhausted and don't have have time to do more than look at the
position briefly. It looks like France didn't completely have things his
own way (or possibly slipped up a bit). It looks like what I do does
matter here, but I really can't put the effort into it I should. Ah, the
life of a one-center power, eh? :)
Mostly I don't want to bounce France if he tries to cover the Lowlands, so
I am going to spin the bit wheel and go for London.
Message from France to Master
Well, the crucial decision is what to do in Boh/Sil/Pru/Ber. My goals are
to at least save one of those units (F Pru or A Boh). Of course I'd like
to save both of them, but I fear at least one of them will end up being
destroyed.
I'm going with Ber S Boh-Sil. I think that this move ensures that he
can't dislodge F Pru without Boh-Sil succeeding, and if Boh-Sil doesn't
succeed, then I run the risk of losing A Boh, but at least I maintain my
forward fleet in Prussia (for one more season at least).
Going with Eng-Nth, and hoping to get rid of that English fleet.
Another decision is whether or not to order Nwy-Swe. Clearly A Stp will
support Nth-Nwy, and you'd think that England would order that. So the
question is will F Bot order to sweden to try and take Sweden, or hold so
I just move out of Norway. I'm going to go with Nwy-Swe and cross my
fingers. If bounced and dislodged, I still have a retreat to Finland.
Man I was in the middle of typing this and had finished and gotten 5 of my
orders typed out when the late notice came in :-P
