Message from England to Master
Kudos to Russia for plugging the holes and getting another fleet in the
water. I really thought France would be able to take advantage to break
through. It will still be a tough hold because of the situation on the
Italian Peninsula, but there is hope. It couldn't hurt for Turkey to
convoy to Apulia.
Russia can now slow France down a bit by making him fight for Island dots
again. Hopefully, he'll stop to help me into the North Sea first so I can
take a shot in the Fall. Whether he does or not probably depends on
whether he thinks it is necessary to cause more confusion or if he thinks
it is safe to eliminate me now. I'm not going to bother trying to hold
Sweden and not even worry about Norway all that much. There is a 99+%
chance I am going to be out no matter what I do, but I think my only hope
is to find a way back home, so to the North Sea again. I've been trying
from ska, but nwy makes more sense now. I hate to change it up in no-press
when there is any chance at all of third-party support, but I will
anyway. Russia has been pretty perceptive so far, hopefully he'll guess
right if he is even thinking along those lines at all.

> Germany: Removes the fleet in the Baltic Sea.
> Russia: Builds a fleet in St Petersburg (south coast).
Well, I guess 1 out of 2 isn't bad. Well, 2 out of 2 for guessing, but
only 1 out of 2 for hooking me up.
The obvious move has to be Kie-Bal. This move is huge, and will provide
the lynchpin to my moves in Scandinavia. I will risk Munich in the spring
with Mun-Kie, Par-Bur and Bur-Mun.
Ideally I'd like to move Bre-Eng, Hol S Eng-Nth, but I'm afraid that the
move to Nth will bounce, so I will move Bre-Mao, with Eng S Hol-Nth. I'll
likely lose Edinburgh, but I will cross my fingers that Russia tries
something tricky. It will be annoying to see yet another Russian fleet in
the north - those units are starting to get very frustrating.
One key will be if Russia defends Livonia. The obvious moves would seem
to be Stp-Bot, with Bot S Swe in fall. But that risks Den-Lvn, which
would seem to just about seal this game if it succeeded. I'll only have
one turn to do that, because assuming he takes Edi, then he'll be able to
build in Mos/War/Stp to defend Lvn.
In the south, I will support Mar-Pie. I will risk Tus to use Lyo to
support Mar-Pie. I'll try to mitigate that by ordering Tys-Rom, which
risks Tys. But I think it is unlikely that I/T will both decide to be
risky, with this being a no-press game, and knowing that if they lose the
Ionian it could mean the ball game.
Message from Germany to Master
There's little else I can do at this point, after all.
Message from Italy to Master
not much to say, except that i'm trying to improve my
defensive position.
Message from Turkey to Master
Things are looking up. TYR needs to move to PIE supported by VEN.
VIE needs to move to TYR and BUD needs to move to TRI.
I will convoy to APU to help out should PIE not make it.
The roaming Russian fleet should be able to keep France busy for a while.
I just hope Germany, Italy and Russia dont do anything silly in europe.
Mind you a 7 way draw is a little ott.
