Message from England to Master
France looks to have a pretty easy time of it now. I'm glad to see Russia
adding a fleet. My game now is just to try to survive long enough to
somehow muck up the French solo. I don't expect to be allowed to
survive. I'll do my part by making sure France isn't able to follow
himself into the North Sea, but he won't take any chances. The appearance
of the Russian fleet may give him a case of the hurry-ups leading to an
error, but I'm not banking on it.

I really think that Russia's build (of F Stp(nc)) was the worst possible
build for him in that situation. It is true that the fleet will be a
nuisance to me, and it may turn out to be the unit that turns the tide in
the north. If that's the case, well then I'll admit that I was wrong.
But I think that it's more likely that it will just turn out to be a minor
thorn, and that unit will be very poorly placed in all the places that it
needs to be (to defend the stalemate line centered on Livonia). Russia is
now 2 units short in holding that line.
My plan in the north is to just continue advancing, province by province.
Eventually (I hope!) I will be able to leave Russia's fleet on the board
while I exploit the places that are now undefended (starting with
Livonia). Unless Russia can defend Livonia, if I can clean up
Scandinavia, this game is over.
This turn, I will try the convoy to Denmark that I should have tried last
fall. With the way my luck's been going recently, F Den will support
England into the North Sea and I'll lose the North Sea...

An entirely passive approach, but now I'm completely
dependent on support or assistance from E and I anyway.
Message from Italy to Master
In the same vein as the previous round. Not sure what
is the best defensive position, though.
Message from Russia to Master
In a way, I would have prefered that Turkey keep his
fleet to use against France and simply send it out; but
I do appreciate the gesture for the strong signal it
represent.
Message from Turkey to Master
A few good guesses by GI and we might yet be able to stop the solo. I =
believe France messed up a little, he should have left MUN in german =
hands. He was already past the stalemate line. I would have concentrated =
on Scandinavia.
